Fall 2010 Mini Album

I made this Fall Mini Album with photos of my granddaughters taken this week-end at the Pumpkin Patch and a family birthday dinner.

Here are the dimensions of the book:

Outside Front Cover:  3 1/4 x 10 inches, score at 4 1/4, 4 1/2, and 9 1/4

Pages:  3 x 4 1/2 inches (6 of them)  Score at 3/4 inches so your pages will flip properly.  You can round the corners of the pages on the opposite end of the score line if you wish.

Designer Paper:  2 3/4 x 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 depending on if you want it to tuck in the fold or not.

Photos:  8 to 10 pictures sized/cropped at 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 or smaller, depends on how much journaling you want to do.

Instructions: Cover of the mini album after scored and folded resembles a match book cover.  Staple close to the edge of the paper after you get your pages in the book.  Add whatever embellishments you wish depending on the theme of the book.  This one is a Fall or Harvest theme.  The original inspiration came from my stampin buddy Sue.  Check out all her wonderful mini albums on her blog.

Anniversary Card

Two Step Owl Punch by Stampin' Up!

I made this card for my daughter Jackie and her husband's 2nd anniversary.  I made it while my seven year old granddaugther coached me on what paper colors  to use and where to place the eyes.  She is always a big help and really knows the names of the SU paper.  She is always asking for a piece of Whisper White Card Stock, LOL!

Father's Day Cards

I haven't posted anything for awhile so I thought I would post a few things tonight.  Heading to a family reunion tomorrow.  Weather is suppose to be around 85 degrees, wonderful weather for a bbq!

Here is a card I made my dad for Father's Day...he is always working on projects, the funny thing about this was my sister mailed him a card that she bought that was a similar themed card!  Boy how we know our dad!  Her's referred to using duct tape on projects!

Here is one I made with granddaughter Madison's help for Papa...I got to use my Cricut for this one!

Dad - Sears National Photo Contest Winner

My Dad gave me this picture of him as a baby, it was taken and the local photographer in The Dalles entered it in the Sears National Photo Contest and it won First Place.  Dad was born in 1933 so I believe this was in 1934 or 1935 when he was one or two years old.

Graduation Time

I made this card for my grand daughter Abby's Pre-school graduation.

The set is a Stampin' Up! set called Under the Stars, the hat is a foam sticker and diploma is a rolled piece of white paper.  It is Baja Blue Card Stock and Designer Paper from Stampin' Up!

Signs for Sister's Beach Rental House

My sister and brother-in-law have an awesome beach house that they rent in Manzanita, Oregon.  She needed a couple of signs to hang on Owner's Only items.  I made these for her.  Check out the blog on their rental...a very comfortable house, Truly A Treasure!
